DESCRIPTION
AISI 304 – is a main grade in the family of austenitic stainless steels containing at least 18% Cr and 10% Ni. Such Cr content ensures the formation of the oxide layer on the surface and provides steel resistance to various chemicals. Also, this ratio of elements in the alloy allows to detect non-ferromagnetic properties.
The main application of AISI 304 – is a pipe, fittings furnace parts, heat exchangers, muffles, retorts, pipes, manifolds exhaust systems, electrodes of spark plugs, welded vessels and apparatus of chemical engineering, operating at temperatures from -196 to 600°C in environments intermediate.
