DESCRIPTION
H13 – is a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloyed hot-work tool steel that is characterized by good abrasion resistance at both low and high temperatures, high toughness and ductility, high level of machinability, good high-temperature strength and resistance to thermal fatigue, insusceptibility to hot cracking.
Can be water-cooled to a limited extent.
Typical application of H13: besides the application area of hot-work steels, this grade is especially used for ejector pins, tool holders, bridge kind tools, liner holders, forging dies, hot work punches, shrink work chucks, etc.
