DESCRIPTION
Alloy 625 – is nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy with excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and strength at high temperatures. Characterized by good resistance to alkalis and organic acids, mineral acids (nitric, phosphoric, sulphuric and hydrochloric), outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, erosion and intergranular attack.
Main application Alloy 625 – is in machinery in marine environments, but also used in the aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, chemical processing and nuclear industries where strength at high temperature are required (between 700°C – 1000°C).
